Salah satu lagu dengan makna yang sangat medalam adalah “So Far Away” karya Avenged Sevenfold. Apa makna lagu So Far Away?
Lagu tersebut bermakna penghormatan kepada salah satu personil mereka yang telah meninggal dunia. Personil tersebut bernama Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan.
The Rev meninggal dunia pada bulan Desember tahun 2009 silam. Personil ini meninggal karena overdosis alkohol serta obat-obatan terlarang.
Di dalam lagu tersebut, terdapat kata so far away yang diulang-ulang. Itu menunjukkan kerinduan anggota band Avenged Sevenfold terhadap kehadiran The Rev.
Kematian The Rev menjadi titik balik yang mengubah gaya hidup personil lain (memakai obat-obatan terlarang dan konsumsi alkohol). Pada akhirnya, personil lain diberi pelajaran oleh Tuhan dengan kematian salah satu anggota band karena overdosis.
